Tyrone Hayes is a native of Augusta, Georgia. From an early age it was evident that Tyrone was blessed with athletic abilities. With hard work and dedication, Tyrone soon became recognized and received a host of accolades. Some of his accolades include but are not limited to: T. W. Josey High school ALL AMERICAN; 1998 & 1999 two- time Augusta Chronicle Player of the Year; 3AAA Player of the Year and The State Terrific Ten; Nationally recognized player on the Okaloosa-Walton Community College/ Flordia Northwest Community College Nationally rated #1 teams for two consecutive seasons (2000 & 2001.) After playing in the junior college circuit, Tyrone was scouted and later transferred to The University of Idaho where he lead his team in scoring, rebounds, blocks and free throw percentage. He later graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Public Communications, and an Associates Degree in Recreation Technology. Upon the completion of his degree, Tyrone played professional basketball in the American Basketball Association, Colonial Basketball Association, and the Latin National Basketball Association. He lead the San Luis Mexico team as the leading scorer and team captain. After returning to Augusta with an injury, Tyrone realized his new found passion and calling was giving back to the young people of his community. He created The Georgia All American Group in early 2012, and is now dedicated to sharing not only his skills on the court, but his testimony. Tyrone Hayes is a true example of a winner; he realized the greatest gift one can give, is themselves. He looks forward to building up the Georgia All American Group and all of it’s programs by creating opportunities to the young people of CSRA.
